Stacey Bourne
Stacey Bourne graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly British School of Osteopathy) in 1986. She has worked in private practice since then, settling in Ilford in 1992 and starting Avenue Osteopaths. For 18 years, she provided Osteopathy to NHS patients, directly referred to and funded by local GPs, and this scheme allowed doctors to see how Osteopathy can effectively support their patients. Since 2005 she has held teaching roles at her College, taking managerial roles in the out-patients clinic in Borough and playing an active role in educating and inspiring the many students that have graduated since then. She holds a post-graduate teaching qualification in Academic practice from the university of Bedfordshire, and a Master of Science in Osteopathy (2015) Her dissertation focused on Pain management.
