Publishing exceptional books that inspire and inform
Mousehold Press is a small, independent publisher based in Norwich, Norfolk. Established in 1994, we have been producing high-quality books for over two decades. Our original specialization was books about Norfolk, and this remains our major output. However, more recently we have also established ourselves as a leading publisher of cycle-sport books. These are frequently published in association with Sport & Publicity, a London-based importer of American and Continental cycling books.
We pride ourselves on publishing books that are of national interest and importance, which are often ignored by major publishers. Our portfolio of books is diverse, encompassing a wide range of subjects, including cycle-sport, history, fiction, and non-fiction.
Cycling Books
Our cycling books are particularly renowned for their unique focus on the sport, offering readers an insight into the lives and careers of professional cyclists. Our titles include autobiographies, biographies, and histories that showcase the bravery, skill, and determination of these athletes.
Norfolk Books
Our Norfolk-themed books delve into the rich history and culture of the county, exploring its fascinating past, rich heritage, and diverse landscapes. From historical narratives to photographic journeys, our books celebrate the beauty and character of this beloved county.
Other Books
In addition to our cycling and Norfolk-themed books, we publish a range of fiction and non-fiction titles on various subjects. These books explore the human experience, offering readers a glimpse into the human condition, the natural world, and our place within it.
The Future
As we move forward, we remain committed to publishing high-quality books that inspire, educate, and entertain. Our aim is to continue producing books that not only showcase our passion for cycling and Norfolk but also explore the world around us, highlighting the beauty, complexity, and diversity of life.
