Here at Hyde Plumbing & Heating Supplies Ltd, we are a long-established business in Hyde, Tameside, and have been supplying top-quality products to our customers for many years. Our business has been recently acquired by myself, Paul Whittaker, a qualified plumber and builder with over 20 years of experience in the Tameside area. As a local tradesman, I understand the importance of supporting local businesses and strive to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Our Story
My family and I have been local tradesmen in the Tameside area for over 20 years, and we have always used HPHS for many years as I feel it is important to support your local businesses. My father started the family business over 50 years ago and also owned his own plumbers merchants on Market Street in Hyde for many years. Myself and my brothers all started to work for the family business, J B Whittaker & Sons, on leaving school and all qualified in our trades under our father's watchful eye. My father has since retired, and I now run my own family business with my 2 sons who are also qualified tradesmen.
What We Do
We are a plumber's merchants who currently supply all your plumbing & drainage equipment from a tap washer to a full bathroom suite. We also supply boilers and radiators and have recently introduced tiling equipment. We are also going to stock a small amount of timber and plywood's, plastering equipment and plasterboards, A variety of wood and masonry screws and a full range of electrical products. If we don't have what you need in stock, we will do our utmost to get the product for you within 24 hours.
Our Services
We are open to the general public who can call in for any of your DIY requirements or browse around our New Bathroom Showroom. We are also open to trade and offer a delivery service, so there's no need for you to down your tools to get your materials. Trade Accounts are available, and we also take card payments. Our friendly staff are the best around, they are very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to ensure you are completely satisfied.
Our Expertise
We have a qualified fitting team who can do any job big or small from fixing a leak, installing a new heating system to fitting a full new bathroom or kitchen along with any other building jobs including full house refurbishments. All our tradesmen are fully qualified in their trade and take great pride in their work. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service, and our team is always happy to offer unbiased and honest advice on all aspects of your project or supplies.
