Dora Designs is a renowned brand that has been delighting customers with its extensive range of charming doorstops, draught excluders, paperweights, key rings, trophy heads, and cushions for over three decades. Our mission is to provide high-quality, unique, and functional products that bring a touch of personality to any home. Our story began in 1991 when our founder, Angela, returned from the United States and identified a gap in the market for fabric doorstops based on animal characters.
Our Journey
With the support of her family, Angela started creating fabric doorstops on her parent's kitchen table and selling them at craft fairs around the country. The products were an instant success, and as the popularity increased, Angela moved into the wholesale market. Our first tradeshow was extremely busy, and Angela soon realised that she had created something very special. Some of our first customers from that trade show are still customers today, including John Lewis. To keep up with the increasing demand, Angela sourced a factory in China with all the right credentials, and this factory still supplies us today.
