The Harker family - Trevor, Lesley, Joel, and Max - are the proud owners of Harkers Barkers Boarding Kennels. With five generations of farming heritage, Trevor has successfully managed a mixed farm, incorporating milking cows and arable farming, all his working life. Trevor's unwavering love for dogs has resulted in a lifetime of canine companionship. Lesley, a former veterinary nurse, has combined her professional expertise and passion for animals in establishing her own preschool business on the farm, The Udder Preschool Day Nursery and Forest School. Joel, armed with his animal-related qualifications, founded and manages the kennels business, assisted by his cocker spaniels, Maggie and Mable. Max, who shares the family's affection for animals, plays an active role in the kennels and farm operations, accompanied by his cocker spaniel, Clover.

All dogs must be at least six months old, fully vaccinated, and possess a valid veterinary certificate to confirm their annual booster injection against Canine Hepatitis, Para Influenza, Canine Distemper, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Additionally, we require that flea and worm treatments are up-to-date upon arrival. Please note, all vaccinations, including Kennel Cough, should be renewed annually before boarding your dog.
