Design Scape

Established in 1998, DesignScape has been providing a fully project managed design and build service to clients in Staffordshire, Shropshire, and Cheshire. Our founder, Phil Wilcox, is an experienced landscaper who successfully completed a Higher National Diploma in Garden Design from Reaseheath College in 1998. Since then, the company has won numerous industry awards and has built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects.

At DesignScape, we work closely with our clients to create bespoke outdoor spaces that meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Our ethos is to deliver exceptional attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality materials, ensuring that every project is finished to an exceptionally high standard.

We are proud to be full contracting members of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and approved installers for Marshalls products. Our team comprises skilled and experienced landscapers, designers, and horticulturists, enabling us to offer a wide range of services, from construction and hard landscaping to the supply and installation of bespoke timber structures, ironwork, and garden lighting. We also provide a full planting service and can source and supply mature and semi-mature trees and shrubs.

• Design Service: We provide a design and build package and do not offer a design-only service. Our initial site visit is free of charge, but we do charge for our design service. We take the time to understand your needs and preferences, enabling us to create a design that reflects your vision and meets your requirements.
• Lighting: Our team can design and install a bespoke lighting system that enhances the beauty of your outdoor space, providing both functionality and ambiance. We offer a range of lighting options, including LED lights, wall lights, and spotlights.
• Decking: We specialize in the design and installation of high-quality decking that complements your outdoor space. Our team uses a range of materials, from wood to composite decking, ensuring that your decking is durable, low-maintenance, and visually appealing.
• Paving & Driveways: We offer a comprehensive paving and driveway service, from design to installation. We use a range of materials, including natural stone, block paving, and resin-bound aggregate, ensuring that your paving or driveway meets your needs and enhances the beauty of your outdoor space.
• Portfolio: Our portfolio showcases a wide range of designs, from traditional to contemporary, demonstrating our expertise in delivering high-quality projects that reflect our clients' needs and preferences. Our portfolio includes award-winning projects, such as the BALI Driveway Entrance Garden, National Trust Paths, and the Tatton Show Garden 2007.
