By 1927, we had transitioned to trading as J.Godfrey & Son, and expanded our services to include grain haulage with our 7-tonne vehicles. This type of specialised haulage remains our forte, and we take great pride in providing exceptional service to our clients in Oxfordshire and beyond.

At J. Godfrey and Son, we operate a modern, all-Volvo fleet of six tractor units and nine trailers, each with a 25-tonne capacity. We regularly update our fleet to ensure that we consistently deliver top-notch performance and reliability. Our experienced drivers are fully trained in various handling and restraining methods, guaranteeing a safe and timely delivery of all loads.

As a long-standing member of the Road Haulage Association, we are well-equipped to handle any haulage job, regardless of size or complexity. Our services include full and part loads, contract transport, F.I.A.S. accredited off-loading facilities, transhipment facilities, and back / return loads. We regularly transport a variety of goods, with farm haulage and grain being our specialities.
