Our Story
I began my journey in 1980, specializing in designing and fitting kitchens and bespoke furniture in Nottingham. As my business grew, I eventually opened a showroom in the Hockley area of Nottingham City Centre. However, after moving to the Vale of Belvoir in 1999, I decided to work from home, using workshops based in Nottingham for larger projects. This allowed me to offer incredibly reasonable prices to my clients while maintaining a high-quality personal service from design to completion.

At Darrell Need, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including designing, making, and fitting bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, and one-off projects. Our kitchen services include working with clients to create their dream design, sourcing units online, and ensuring they are fitted to the highest standard. We also specialize in making made-to-measure freestanding pieces or bespoke items for those tricky places around the house, using a variety of materials to find the right option aesthetically and financially.

Although based in Aslockton in the Vale of Belvoir, we are able to easily cover Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, and the rest of the East Midlands.
