Radbrook Nursery and Pre-school is a renowned childcare provider in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for children from 12 weeks to 5 years old. Established in 1990, our establishment has been serving the community for over 25 years, boasting a thriving out-of-school facility and a warm, homely environment that fostered a sense of security, stimulation, and comfort for our young pupils.

Our Ethos

At Radbrook Nursery and Pre-school, our primary objective is to provide a happy, homely environment that is friendly, secure, safe, and stimulating for children. We deliver quality education following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which enables the development of all children in all seven areas of learning. We strive to respect social, religious, and cultural backgrounds of all the children in our care, consistently developing relationships with parents, carers, and extended families, as well as associating with other settings, professionals, and the local community.

Our Staff

Opening Times

Our nursery operates from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We close on bank holidays and over the Christmas period (December 24th to January 2nd).

Fees

Our fees are reviewed annually and are competitive with other childcare providers in the area. We accept 24U funding, Nursery Education Funding (NEF), and the extended hours funding, which can be spread over 51 weeks. We are also registered with all voucher companies for childcare voucher bills.

Daily Routine

Our daily routine is tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and the setting on that particular day. We believe in providing a structured routine with flexibility, ensuring that our children feel safe, secure, and happy. Our daily routine includes circle times, free play, adult-led activities, outdoor play, rest periods, and meal times. We provide a variety of healthy snacks and meals, promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging children to develop healthy eating habits.
