Honiton Garden Centre

At Honiton Garden Centre, we are an independent, family-run business located in the heart of the beautiful East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our garden centre is conveniently situated alongside the A35, just a few minutes' drive from Honiton town centre. Our 5000 square foot purpose-built 'barn-style' building offers a wide range of gardening and garden products, a newly refurbished plant sales area, and a bright and airy cafe and restaurant with plenty of outside seating to enjoy the rural setting.

Our Services

We pride ourselves on sourcing and offering only British-grown plants, the majority of which are grown in the West Country, making our stock ideal for conditions here in the UK. Our shop offers a wide range of everything you would expect to find to get your garden prepared for every season - with a huge range of tools, irrigation, fertilizers, chemicals, seeds, plastic pots, garden furniture, and sundries. Our large range of outside ceramic pots offers styles to suit every garden and budget. With an array of garden ornaments, solar lighting, and the latest decorative outside art, we are sure you will find something to add to the pleasure of your garden.

Our loose seed potatoes and onion sets are now in stock, and you can buy only what you need, whether it's a little or a lot. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience of our customers, and by listening and responding to your ideas and requests, there is usually something new to discover.

Cafe and Restaurant

Our light and airy cafe is open daily, offering a great range of breakfasts, light bite lunch options, and a selection of home-made cakes for a delicious afternoon tea. Why not treat yourself to one of our cream teas, served with warm homemade buttermilk scones? We use only high-quality, locally sourced food and products. Our menu includes a range of breakfast options to get you started for the day ahead. Our lighter lunch options include sandwiches, award-winning pasties, home-made soups, and savouries. All our food is cooked to order using only the freshest ingredients, so why not join us for breakfast, served until 12 pm, coffee and cake, or lunch?

Pet-Friendly

Dogs are welcome to stretch their legs in our ample open outdoor space, quench their thirst, and play with our super-friendly collie, Archie. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in both our garden centre shop and our cafe. We look forward to meeting them soon!

Our brand new expanded pet section offers a fantastic range of the latest tactile, colourful, and perfectly priced toys and accessories for our four-legged friends, including a large selection of pet beds. Don't forget about our feathered friends - our expanded wild bird care centre includes our largest selection of bird tables, feeders, and bird seed - from "take as much as you need loose" to great value bulk bags.
