Long Acre Bed & Breakfast

We, Rose Dawson and family, extend a warm welcome to our Long Acre Self Catering Accommodation, a family home and smallholding nestled in two acres of beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. Our picturesque grounds are home to an array of old breed poultry, as well as rescue owls and birds of prey. Our guests are more than welcome to explore our gardens, relax at the picnic table, or make use of our recreational field. You'll even have access to free Wi-Fi in our self-catering apartments.

Long Acre is proud to be a part of Herriot Country, and the quaint market town of Thirsk is just a stone's throw away. We're located in a charming and serene environment, perfect for unwinding and escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Our Self-Catering Accommodation

Long Acre offers two distinct self-catering apartments, both of which have been designed with our guests' comfort and convenience in mind.

The Lodge can accommodate up to three guests, with one double bedroom and one single bedroom. It features a newly renovated bathroom with an extra-large shower cubicle and a comfort height toilet. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, and fridge/freezer. Guests can enjoy the warmth of gas central heating and electric backup. We provide all bed linen, and towels, kitchen towels, tea towels, and a towelling robe are also included. A cot and high chair are available upon request.

The Garden Room is a wheelchair and disabled accessible apartment that can accommodate two to three guests. The combined lounge, dining room, and bedroom feature a double bed and single bed. A modern wet room with a shower, basin, and WC is also available. The separate kitchen comes with a microwave, air fryer, single hob, and toaster. Guests can make use of the LCD flat-screen TV with integrated DVD player. The Garden Room is fully wheelchair accessible, including the wet room. Gas central heating and electric backup are available. All rooms are wheelchair accessible. Bed linen, towels, and kitchen towels, along with a towelling robe, are provided.

Booking and Enquiries

To enquire about staying at Long Acre, please fill in the enquiry and booking form below, providing us with your contact details and dates of interest. We will get back to you as soon as possible. We require a deposit of 50% to secure a reservation, with the balance due on arrival. A discount of 10% is available on second and subsequent consecutive weeks booked. We request that guests do not exceed the stated capacity of the apartments. A cot, high chair, and baby bath are available upon request. We regret that we cannot accept payment by credit or debit card.
