Customer Service and Product Quality
Elstead Lighting's customer service and product quality have received mixed reviews. On the positive side, several customers have praised the helpful staff, excellent communication, and the wide range of products available. For instance, Ian Underhay mentioned that the customer service was fantastic, and Adrian provided a new part for a lift within three days. Similarly, Gary Smith appreciated the quick response to a problem with a light, and the staff's efficiency. Customer Kim Simmons noted that the customer service was "second to none, " and Nikie Dalton found the staff to be very helpful and polite.
On the negative side, some customers have had issues with the quality of the products and the customer service. For example, Nick Zammeti purchased Baltimore Outside Lamps that leaked when it rained and was not helped by the MD. Michael Owen had a terrible experience with garden lights that were faulty, and the company would not replace them, blaming the installer instead. Richard Lloyd had to return damaged light fittings and received no apology or compensation despite the inconvenience.
Product Range and Pricing
The selection of lights at Elstead Lighting is extensive, as mentioned by S. Z. However, some customers have noted that the prices are not competitive, and similar products can be found at lower prices elsewhere. For instance, S. Z. found lights at KES Lighting for half the price of those at Elstead, and KES offered free delivery as well.
