Our History
The company's origins date back to the 1970s, when it provided maintenance support for General Aviation at Exeter Airport. Over the years, the company underwent several ownership changes until it was purchased by Jersey European Airways (JEA) in 1988. As a division of JEA, the company was responsible for maintaining the JEA-owned fleet, as well as a large fleet of General Aviation aircraft. In 1996, Iscavia was created, and it continued to operate as a subsidiary of Flybe until 2007, when the current directors purchased the company.
Our Services
At Iscavia, we offer a wide range of services tailored to meet the needs of corporate and business operators, as well as private aircraft owners. Our capabilities include aircraft maintenance, avionics, airworthiness certification, hangarage, and aircraft parts. We are proud to hold PART145 A2, B1, C1, C5, and C6 approvals, as well as Part CAO approval, which enables us to carry out ARC recommendations and extensions.
Our engineering facilities are equipped to handle all maintenance, modifications, avionic upgrades, repairs, and overhauls. Our avionic workshop is approved to overhaul, service, and repair radio and other electronic equipment, and we are proud to be Garmin and TRIG authorised dealers. We also provide a range of services, including PT6 fuel nozzle cleaning and servicing, lead acid battery supply and CAP testing, and engine desalination and performance recovery.
