Our Story
Twig Garden Design was born from a love of plants and a desire to create beautiful outdoor spaces. Since 2001, we have been designing gardens across Scotland, taking a very personal, hands-on approach to all our projects. We work closely with the best landscape contractors and outdoor specialists and suppliers to create the perfect garden for our clients.

Our Team
Our team is led by Jason Russell, a highly experienced garden designer with a deep understanding of design and its relationship to the surrounding environment. Jason is passionate about plants and has an intelligent, creative, and intuitive approach to garden design. He has appeared on The Beechgrove Garden and has given talks to The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society, The Society of Garden Designers, and Scottish horticultural groups.
Lucy Head, our head gardener, leads the planting and maintenance of all our gardens. With a background in art history and English literature, Lucy brings a unique perspective to garden design and is dedicated to creating beautiful, thriving outdoor spaces.
