What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession dedicated to improving human function and movement. It employs physical treatments to restore and maintain physical, psychological, and social wellbeing. Our team at Fox Physiotherapy is committed to evidence-based practice and offers up-to-date treatments for a wide range of conditions, such as back and neck pain, upper and lower limb problems, whiplash, sports injuries, headaches, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Chartered physiotherapists undergo a 3-4 year degree-level training and are qualified to work within the NHS. They practice in a variety of health settings, including intensive care, mental health, stroke recovery, care of the elderly, as well as orthopaedics and rheumatology within a Hospital or the Community. In private practice, the majority of physiotherapists tend to specialise in musculoskeletal problems, such as joint, ligament, tendon, muscle, back/neck pain, and sports injuries.

We will discuss your specific treatment options and formulate an agreed-upon plan tailored to your needs. For a thorough assessment, please consider bringing shorts or a vest top, depending on the area being treated. We kindly request that minors under 18 are accompanied by an adult. A chaperone is welcome at your appointment.

If physiotherapy treatment is not suitable for your condition, we will advise on the most appropriate management options.
