Our team of experienced staff, led by brothers Colin and Richard Bond, have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the building industry, gained from years of working in the trade and completing City and Guilds qualifications in Carpentry & Joinery and Bricklaying.
Our History
The company started trading in 2005, after the brothers were made redundant due to the closure of the timber merchant where they had been employed for many years. They took the opportunity to start their own business, building on their extensive experience and expertise. Since then, we've grown to become a trusted and respected supplier of timber and sheet materials, serving both DIY and trade customers across the region.
Our Services
At Stoke Ferry Timber, we offer an extensive range of services designed to meet the needs of our customers. Our timber supplies include sawn and planed timber, sheet materials, fencing panels, equestrian fencing, and garden decking, as well as concrete posts and gravel boards. We're proud to boast an onsite sawmill, capable of cutting timber to our customers' specified lengths and sheet material to size, either ordered in advance or as a 'while you wait' service.
In addition to our timber supplies, we also offer a friendly and reliable delivery service, with our own vehicles covering a wide range of areas including Brandon, Thetford, Downham Market, Ely, Swaffham, Kings Lynn, and all the surrounding villages. Our experienced staff are always happy to offer guidance and advice on our customers' timber needs, from the smallest DIY project to large-scale trade and industrial builds.
