The Greyhound Inn welcomes you to our vibrant, lively, and family-friendly pub and restaurant located on the A511 in Woodville, Swadlincote. We are a popular venue for holding special celebrations and are known for our informal and family-friendly atmosphere.

Our Services

At The Greyhound Inn, we offer a range of services to make your dining experience with us unforgettable. Our traditional carvery is served every day, accompanied by our authentic wood-fired pizzas and classic menu meals. We also have a beer garden, patio seating, a large car park, and disabled access and facilities to cater to all our customers' needs.

Covid-19 Care Plan

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we have made some changes in the way we operate to protect our customers, staff, and wider community. We politely ask you to respect the guidelines that are in place to maintain a safe atmosphere. Our team is dedicated to sanitising touch points, tables, chairs, and toilets all the time while we are open. Hand sanitiser is available in multiple areas, and we require our team to wash their hands frequently. We have also reduced the size of our food and drink offer to help with social distancing in the kitchen.

Dining with Us

When you arrive at The Pub, please do not visit us if you feel unwell or have experienced any Covid symptoms in the last 10 days. Please arrive on time and not turn up before your booking time. You will be asked to use hand sanitiser upon arrival, and our team will be on hand to monitor that we are operating a 'One out, One in' System. At your table, all tables and chairs are thoroughly sanitised between guests, and we ask that you respect social distancing measures.

About Our Food and Drinks

Our menu offers a range of delicious dishes, including our famous carvery, authentic wood-fired pizzas, and classic menu meals. Our carvery is served Monday to Friday from 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm. Our pizza menu is available Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 10pm, and our main menu is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 9pm and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm.
