Our History
Our company has a long and varied history, with roots dating back to the 1920s. Arnold Hiller and his son Robert started the business as fruit farmers, growing high-quality fruits such as apples, pears, and plums. They were instrumental in introducing new fruits to the UK market, including loganberries. Over the years, we have adapted to changes in the market, constantly evolving and innovating to meet the demands of our customers.
Growing and Adapting
In the 1970s, we introduced a Pick Your Own fruit farm, which became one of the largest in the area. This innovative approach allowed families to spend quality time together, picking their own fruit and enjoying a fun day out. However, with the rise of supermarkets in the 1980s, we needed to adapt once again. We invested in sophisticated packing and storage facilities to supply the supermarkets with our fresh produce, ensuring the continued viability of our business.

Today, our Farm Shop is a bustling hub of activity, attracting visitors from far and wide. We are proud of our achievements and are committed to continued growth and innovation. Our Farm Shop is now a thriving business, offering a wide range of products and services, including our renowned Garden Cafe, Gifts & Interiors, and Plant Centre.
