We are John and Wendy Burke, the proud owners of The Waggon & Horses, a traditional English pub located in the heart of Peasedown St John, Bath. Our cozy pub has been a staple in the community for over 20 years, and we're delighted to share our story with you.
Our Story
We took over The Waggon & Horses in 2002, and since then, we've worked tirelessly to make it a welcoming destination for locals and visitors alike. Our goal has been to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, where people can come together to enjoy a pint of our fine selection of beers, lagers, and ciders, accompanied by a delicious meal from our menu.

Our menu features a range of traditional pub classics, including our famous "Just Like Mum Used to Make" roast dinner on Sundays and Wednesdays. We also offer takeaway pizza's and burgers for those looking for a quick and easy meal.
In addition to our food and drink offerings, we have a function room perfect for special occasions such as birthday parties, weddings, and corporate events. Our function room is equipped with its own bar, making it an ideal choice for hosting events.
