Since 1992, we have been dedicated to delivering exceptional eyecare to the local community. Our highly qualified and skilled optometrists, audiologists, and dispensing opticians are committed to providing personalized care, tailored to your unique and individual needs. Eye Examinations
Not all eye examinations are equal, and at Julian Davies Opticians, we understand this. We dedicate more time to giving our patients a full and comprehensive examination with the opportunity to have in-depth scans of the eyes, called OCT, in most of our locations. We will spend the time to get to know you, your history, and any problems you're having, and tailor our examination and recommendations to you as an individual.

Contact Lenses

Myopia Management
Did you know that we can provide spectacles and contact lenses to slow the progression of short-sightedness in young people and help reduce their chances of associated ocular conditions as a result? We have specially trained optometrists and dispensing opticians in all of our locations to help advise on myopia and its management.
Glaucoma ODTCS
A number of our optometrists across the group have higher qualifications in glaucoma care, as well as having access to the best diagnostic equipment. As a result of this, we have run a specialist clinic in our Newport location since 2015, managing large numbers of glaucoma patients and suspects on behalf of the hospital eye service.
