Corporate Clients
For corporate clients engaged in international business transactions, our services include preparing and executing Powers of Attorney given by companies involved in transactions in foreign jurisdictions. We certify company resolutions, minutes, accounts, and reports and verify certificates of incorporation, memorandum, and articles of association. Our notarial services can assist in notarising documents for opening foreign bank accounts, providing Apostille and Legalisation services, and authenticating the identity of Company Officers. We also authenticate documents required for the incorporation of companies in foreign countries.
Apostilles & Legalisation
In some jurisdictions, a notarial act may be accepted without requiring further authentication, most likely in a jurisdiction that forms part of the Commonwealth. However, in many cases, an Apostille or Legalisation is necessary for documents to be recognised in foreign jurisdictions. An Apostille is a certificate issued by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office that verifies the signature and seal of a Notary Public. Legalisation involves the authentication of documents by the embassy or consulate of the country where the document will be used.
