Located in the picturesque village of Cholderton, Wiltshire, the Crown Inn is a traditional, family-run country pub that has been serving the local community for over 350 years. Our aim is to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal or a refreshing drink in our cozy pub.
Our Facilities
Our pub has been extensively renovated to maintain its original character while providing modern amenities. We have a large courtyard area at the front and an acre of grounds at the back, perfect for outdoor games and activities. We also have a great play area with exciting facilities, including a play park, benches, and a large field for ball games and other activities.
Food and Drink
At the Crown Inn, we pride ourselves on serving traditional pub favourites and enticing new dishes, all made fresh in our kitchen. We source as many ingredients as possible from local suppliers to create our homemade traditional favourites, such as pies and roasts, as well as offering some new dishes too. Our menus are designed to cater to all tastes and dietary requirements.
Events and Occasions
We host a variety of events throughout the year, including food nights, quiz nights, live music, and family fun days. Our Crown Festival is a popular event that takes place during the summer months, and we also celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day with special menus and activities.

Our bar offers a range of drinks, including real ales, ciders, wines, and soft drinks. We have a selection of Mad Goose, Doom Bar, and Atlantic beers, as well as a range of gins, wines, and soft drinks.

Located in the picturesque Bourne Valley, there are plenty of things to see and do in the local area around Cholderton. We are close to Stonehenge and Woodhenge, making us a perfect base for exploring the local attractions.

We are easily accessible by car, with ample parking available on-site. If you are using public transport, we are accessible by bus, with regular services from Salisbury and Tidworth.
