Ceanna Ffordyt Cottage is a charming bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of Glenurquhart, offering stunning views of Loch Meiklie and the Glen Affric hills. Although we are temporarily closed, we are excited to announce that we will be reopening our doors on 1st April 2023, with a new focus on room-only accommodation. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the discontinuation of our breakfast service.
Our guest room, with its own separate entrance and internal door, is tastefully decorated and can be used as a single or double room, making it an ideal choice for both solo travellers and couples. The room comes equipped with a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including free wi-fi, satellite TV, a hairdryer and shaver point, and ample private parking. Please note that we do not allow pets or smoking on the premises, and our accommodation is not suitable for children under 12 years old. Dutch, Flemish, German, and English are all spoken here.

Our peaceful and secluded location, just a 7-minute drive from Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness, offers stunning views and a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Highlands in all its glory. With plenty of winter snow, it's also a fantastic destination for skiing, snowboarding, and snowball fights!

From walking and hiking in the stunning Glen Affric hills to fishing, golfing, and watersports, there's something for everyone. History buffs will enjoy visiting the nearby Urquhart Castle and Eilean Donan Castle, while animal lovers can explore the Highland Wildlife Park or take a boat trip on Loch Ness.

How to Find Us
Ceanna Ffordyt Cottage is located exactly 4 miles from Drumnadrochit in stunning Glenurquhart, just 25 minutes from Inverness. To find us, take the A831 from Drumnadrochit in the direction of Cannich. After exactly 4 miles, turn right at the sign of Torcroft Lodges. Follow the road uphill, and after crossing a cattle grid, keep left at the fork in the road. At the next junction of tracks, turn right and continue uphill. At the end of the track, open the gate and continue to the last of the two houses.
