Nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Dinas Castle Inn stands as the highest pub in this iconic landscape. Our establishment combines traditional hospitality with modern comforts, offering visitors a unique blend of hearty cuisine, diverse accommodation options, and breathtaking natural surroundings. With a history dating back to our former identity as The Dragons Back, we have evolved to meet the needs of contemporary travelers while preserving the charm of our rural setting. Our team, led by Julie, Ray, and Jeffers, takes pride in creating an inclusive environment where both humans and their pets feel welcome. Strategically positioned at over 1,000ft above sea level, our location provides unparalleled access to outdoor adventures and cultural experiences.

From our pet-friendly policy to our commitment to serving wholesome, home-cooked meals, every aspect of our operation reflects our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. The panoramic views from our beer garden and the proximity to Castell Dinas ruins enhance the visitor experience. We cater to diverse groups, including hikers, festival-goers, and corporate teams, through flexible accommodation solutions.
