Hello, I'm Mary, the founder and practitioner at Acupuncture Watford. I am a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and have been working in Oxhey, Watford, for many years. My practice is located near Watford, a short walk from Bushey Station, making it easily accessible for those traveling from London or elsewhere in the UK.

My journey in the medical field began as a nurse in Cork, Ireland. Later, while training to be a midwife in East London, I discovered acupuncture and was immediately captivated by its holistic approach to health and well-being. I initially trained in Five Element Acupuncture and have since expanded my knowledge and skills in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese Acupuncture, and Facial Acupuncture. I have also undertaken numerous courses focused on fertility and pregnancy, enabling me to specialize in this area and provide the best possible care for my patients.

As an active member of the Zita West network, Acupuncture Childbirth Team (ACT), and Pregnancy and Parenthood Alliance (PAPA), I continually strive to enhance my understanding and capabilities in the field of acupuncture. I have had the privilege of visiting China and learning from acupuncturists there, further broadening my horizons and expertise. My extensive training and experience enable me to create custom treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, treating the body as an interconnected whole.
