Discover the Story Behind the Badge

At Bosleys, we are proud to be one of the leading international specialist auction houses dealing with every aspect of military antiques. Our company, formed by the partnership of long-term LAPADA member Steven Bosley and Sally Bosley, has over the past 25 years established itself as a trusted and reputable name in the industry. Our aim has always been to provide both buyers and sellers with the best possible confidential service, and we strive to go above and beyond to meet their needs.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including live auctions, online auctions, and specialist postal auctions of military cap badges, shoulder titles, collar badges, lapel badges, formation signs, and more. Our auctions feature a vast array of items, from humble soldier's uniforms to fine pieces of Georgian campaign furniture. We also provide a free research service to vendors, where we work tirelessly to uncover the hidden history and significance of the items consigned to us. This service has led to many surprising discoveries, including a sword that was estimated at 300 but ultimately sold for 1,600 after our researchers uncovered its rich history.

Our Expertise

Our team of experts has extensive knowledge and passion for military antiques, and we are fortunate to be able to call on a network of consultants who are leading authorities in their particular specialist fields. We take great care in describing and photographing each item in our catalogues, and we are always happy to provide additional information to buyers who require it. Our sales are held in our Staffordshire auction rooms, which are centrally located and easily accessible by road and rail.

Our Commitment

At Bosleys, we are committed to providing a professional and efficient service to all our clients. We understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion, and we guarantee that all items are vetted for authenticity and accurately described in our catalogues. We also offer a secure packing and postal service, making it easy and convenient for buyers to purchase and receive their items from the comfort of their own homes.
