Our independent nursery is open 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 8am until 6pm, catering to children aged 0 to 5. Our Facilities
Our nursery is situated in an old house located near the Ridgeway, directly opposite a free long-stay car park. We have carefully arranged and equipped individual rooms to suit the needs of children of different ages, including a separate dining room and designated sleeping rooms. Our extensive outdoor space comprises a fully covered decked garden for our younger children, a safe and enclosed garden, and a covered, free-flow area for the 2 to 5-year-olds.
Our Team
Each room is run by an NVQ3-qualified nursery nurse, alongside NVQ2 and trainee staff. A qualified primary teacher and Early Years Professional oversees the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum throughout the nursery. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all children, and we take the safety and wellbeing of our staff, children, and their families very seriously.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support families, including free government-funded spaces for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds. We are an inclusive nursery, and we work closely with the Plymouth City Council to provide support and resources for families. Our nursery is open from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and we offer flexible arrangements to suit the needs of working families.
