Mersea Museum, located in the heart of West Mersea, Essex, is an independent museum that has been preserving and showcasing the rich history and heritage of the local community since 1976. Our purpose-built premises have undergone steady expansion over the years, allowing us to provide a comprehensive and engaging experience for our visitors. We are proud to be a part of the Wheels of Time badge collecting scheme, which encourages children aged 5-11 years old to explore and learn about local history.
Our Exhibitions and Services
