Our Services

Our expertise lies in the provision of Civil and Structural engineering design services to private and public sector clients. We have successfully delivered a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, industrial, and local authority schemes, as well as a broad range of domestic new-builds, house extensions, and loft conversions. Our engineers have the knowledge and expertise to design all types of structures, from simple beam calculations to complex structural analysis.

Structural Engineering Design

Our Structural Engineers are experienced in ensuring the strength and stability of buildings, transforming architectural visions into buildable structures. We have the technical skills and knowledge to design in a range of materials, including steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber, masonry, and structural glass. Our engineers regularly liaise with the design team to ensure that designs are coordinated and support the construction team throughout the build process.

Drainage & Highways Design

Our experienced Civil Engineers have the technical skills and knowledge to design the drainage, highways, and external works elements for your project. We will design your underground and surface water drainage networks, pumping stations, and package treatment plants. Our engineers will also liaise with sewerage undertakers, local authorities, and approval bodies to ensure that the relevant consents and adoption agreements are in place and that planning conditions are discharged in a timely manner.

BIM Services & 3D Modelling

We use Building Information Modelling (BIM) to create and manage project information in a collaborative way, aiding coordination throughout the design and construction process. Our engineers and BIM technicians use a range of software packages, including Revit, PDS, and Civils 3D, to create and coordinate our design deliverables.

Temporary Works Design

Our engineers are experienced in providing temporary works designs to contractors, including temporary propping arrangements, temporary bases, cabins, and hoardings, as well as advice on temporary groundworks supports. This technical knowledge of temporary works allows us to deliver highly efficient structural solutions that take account of site logistics, buildability, and temporary works constraints.

Building Regulations Calculations

Our Engineers are well known to the Local Authority Building Control teams and provide detailed and well-presented Building Regulations calculations and drawings that ensure your project gains Building Control approval in a timely manner.

Our Team

Our managing director, Jonathan Paull, is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 15 years' experience in the construction industry. He has a strong background in structural engineering, having previously led the structural engineering business in Wales for W.S.Atkins, one of the UK's largest engineering consultancies. Our operations director, Mike Macdonald, is a Chartered Civil Structural Engineer with over 10 years' experience in the construction industry, having worked on a wide range of projects across various sectors.
