Colin Crawshaw Ltd is a distinguished family-run business founded in 1971 by Colin Crawshaw and his wife Sue. The company transitioned into a Limited Company in 2003, and Colin and Sue have since semi-retired, leaving the business primarily under the guidance of their son Chris and his wife Hayley, who manages the office. Based in Shelf on the Bradford/Halifax border, we cater to clients in most parts of West Yorkshire. Our plumbers and gas engineers are trained to the highest standards, holding CITB/NVQ, City & Guilds qualifications, and Gas Safe registration. They also carry C.S.C.S. cards listing their Health & Safety qualifications. Our work is fully guaranteed, and we hold a 5 million public liability insurance policy. We are proud members of the Association of Plumbers & Heating Contractors and hold an accreditation certificate for SAFEcontractor. Much of our work is done through major housing associations, local authorities, and education authorities.

Disabled Adaptations

Our experienced team provides disabled adaptations, including the replacement of baths with level access shower trays, the installation of wet floor showers, the adaptation of existing bathrooms with disabled fittings, such as handrails and shower seats, and the replacement of existing taps with lever action taps. We provide all of these services free of VAT if the customer is registered disabled.
