Our Story
2024 Kitchen Crafts & Furniture was founded in 1972 by a skilled joiner with a vision for creating high-quality, bespoke woodwork. Over the past fifty years, the business has grown and evolved, but the commitment to traditional techniques and the creation of beautiful, custom-made pieces has remained at the heart of the company.
The founder's son started visiting the workshop at a young age, and it wasn't long before he became an apprentice. Together, they expanded the business, adding new workshops and taking on more staff. However, they were always mindful of the importance of keeping the business small enough to allow them to remain involved in the workshop and continue crafting beautiful pieces.
Today, the business is owned and run by the founder's son and his partner. They continue to uphold the company's commitment to traditional techniques and high-quality craftsmanship. The next generation may already be showing an interest, with the founder's grandson having made his first coffee table at the age of nine.
Bespoke Woodwork, Crafted in Cheshire
At 2024 Kitchen Crafts & Furniture, we are proud of our heritage and our commitment to traditional woodworking techniques. Our workshop is based in Cheshire, where our skilled craftsmen create bespoke woodwork for clients across the country. We use mortises and tenons rather than screws and dowels, and we never use CNC machines or standardised production methods. This approach may take a little more time, but it ensures that every piece we create is of the highest quality.
Our repeat business is incredibly high, and we haven't advertised for years. This is a testament to the quality of our work and the strong relationships we build with our clients. We are passionate about what we do, and we are dedicated to creating beautiful, custom-made woodwork that will last for generations.
