Welcome to Nippers Nursery, a family-run setting that aims to offer something a little bit different for you and your child. With over 25 years of experience, our highly qualified and dedicated staff team has been providing local families with a top-notch service. Our nursery is owned and operated by Julie Addyman and Kim Julian, who are on site every day, working directly with the staff team, children, and families. We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming environment where children can thrive and become confident, curious, and creative learners.
Our Philosophy
At Nippers Nursery, we believe that children learn best through play and exploration. Our "Free Play System" allows children to access six themed areas of play, making choices and developing their own interests and skills. Our staff team is made up of highly skilled and passionate individuals who work closely with children to create a tailored learning experience. We use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as our framework, ensuring that every child is supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our Facilities
Our nursery offers a range of facilities to cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years old. Our well-equipped classrooms, including the Imaginative Play Room, Quiet Room, Messy Play Room, and Cooking Corner, provide a stimulating environment that fosters creativity and curiosity. Our outdoor play areas, including the Builder Centre, Mud Scullery, and Natural Corner, offer opportunities for physical activity, exploration, and sensory play. We also have a dedicated Baby Room, where our little ones can enjoy snuggles and playtime.
Our Staff
Our staff team is made up of three generations of family members, including Leah Wetroom Leader, Vicky Studio Team, Kim Nursery Manager, Julie Everyones team, Sara Bambino Team, Haylie Outdoor Team, and Ella Outdoor Team. We believe that our family values and passion for education make us unique and committed to providing the best possible experience for our children and families.

Our Services
We offer a range of services to support the development of our children, including a minimum of three days a week from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. We also offer education funding for eligible 2, 3, and 4-year-olds. Our kitchen produces delicious, locally sourced meals, and we have regular family socials and events.
