Rainbow Pre-School is a reputable childcare institution that prides itself on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Our team is composed of friendly, dedicated, and experienced professionals who are committed to helping each child reach their full potential. We employ a keyworker system, where each family is assigned a key person who builds a relationship with the child and tailors their learning and care to their individual needs.
Our Early Years Practitioners are qualified to a Level 3, and undergo rigorous enhanced DBS checks, Safeguarding Children training, Paediatric First Aid Certification, and Food Hygiene Certification. We believe in the importance of continuous professional development, and encourage and support our staff in keeping up-to-date with current research and best practices within the Early Years sector.
Our current team includes Caron Rhodes as the Manager, Dawn Drummond as the Deputy Manager, Petal Rhodes as an Early Years Practitioner, and Hannah Drummond as an Early Years Apprentice. Our Maintenance Manager, Mr Balls, is employed by Ealing and Hanwell District Scouts to carry out essential maintenance jobs as required.
Our Mission Statement
Our mission statement at Rainbow Pre-School is "Quality is Our Reality". We are committed to providing the highest quality of care and education to our children, and strive to continually improve our practices and environment.
Our Vision Statement
Our vision statement is "To be a leading and recognised Early Years provider, through our holistic approach to each child's unique development." We believe in a holistic approach to child development, where we consider all aspects of a child's growth - emotional, social, intellectual, and physical.
Our Curriculum
At Rainbow Pre-School, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which covers the seven areas of learning: Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design. We provide a stimulating curriculum that enhances the development of all children, and ensure quality supervision, planning, and assessment in order to inform future planning.
Our Relationships
We recognise and celebrate effort and success, and provide consequences for unacceptable attitudes and behaviour. We promote care and concern for our peers, and provide opportunities for the family to be directly involved. We encourage critical friends and provide strong leadership and management.
Our Resources and Environment
We provide fully functioning items in sufficient numbers, and maintain a clean, stimulating, interesting, safe, and secure environment for our children.
Evaluation
We celebrate our strengths and identify areas for continued improvement, providing training and opportunities for growth.
