At Eric's, we're passionate about providing an exceptional fine-dining experience in the heart of Lindley, Huddersfield. Our award-winning restaurant is led by our accomplished and enthusiastic chef/proprietor, Eric Paxman, who has crafted exciting seasonal menus that showcase the best of local and fine ingredients. With a focus on quality, imagination, and flair, we offer a range of menus to suit every taste and occasion, from our A La Carte menu to set menus for lunch and early dinner, and traditional Sunday lunches.
Our Story
Eric's restaurant has been a labour of love for our chef/proprietor, Eric Paxman, who opened the doors in November 2010. Since then, we've been proud to receive various accolades and awards, including the North East's Regional Restaurant of the Year, as voted for by readers of the 'Good Food Guide'. Eric's journey began at Huddersfield Technical College, where he gained a distinction in chef training. He then worked under the best in the world, including Marco Pierre White's 'L'escargot' in London, and later in Sydney, Australia, under the late Bill Grainger. These experiences have shaped Eric's personable and relaxed style, which is reflected in every dish that leaves our kitchen.
