Prestbury Golf Club

Prestbury Golf Club, a true gem nestled in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside, was founded in 1920 by a group of passionate golf enthusiasts. This esteemed club, which includes a delightful mix of professionals and businessmen from the local area, was created with the desire to have an 18-hole course on less strenuous terrain. The inaugural meeting took place in Stanley Hall on February 21, 1920, with Mr T. Taylor presiding over the assembly and officers being appointed.

The course, which was designed by the renowned Harry Colt, has been ranked as one of England's Top 100 courses by Golf World and National Club Golfer. Recently, it has been ranked as number four in the Cheshire region and has been praised by Rob Smith (Golf Monthly, 2023) as an 'excellent course with that perfect mix of challenge and physical beauty.' The course boasts stunning elevation changes that test golfers of all skill levels, while the exceptional drainage and sandy subsoil allow for excellent playing conditions year-round.

Our prestigious club enjoys a magnificent clubhouse, complete with an extended outside terrace that allows visitors to enjoy the stunning surroundings following their round. The well-appointed locker rooms provide a comfortable space for members and visitors alike, while the dining facilities offer delicious meals, accompanied by an extensive beverage selection.
