Atmosphere and Food
The Gather Inn is a popular spot for those seeking a lively atmosphere and a variety of food options. One reviewer, Olly Haynes, mentioned that the jerk-inspired food and burger deals were both affordable and of great quality. Another positive comment came from Alice, who enjoyed an amazing roast with huge portion sizes and fantastic food quality, accompanied by super friendly staff.
However, some customers had issues with the food. Maureen Buggy, for instance, found the guacamole too spicy and the potato wedges overcooked, but she still appreciated the friendly staff and the overall experience.

The staff at the Gather Inn are generally well-received. However, there were some negative comments. Memoengland mentioned that the place was dirty and outdated, with old beds that were not kept clean. His wife even got bug bites after sleeping there. Dale Hathaway had a similar experience, staying in a room infested with bed bugs and experiencing noise from the pipes, the room above, and passing traffic.
