The Oak Treehouse is a day nursery that has been providing children with a rich, dynamic, and ever-changing learning environment since 2008. We are located in Shepshed on the Shepshed Campus with St Botolph's Primary School and Iveshead School, and we are registered for places for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our team of experienced and dedicated staff strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where children can grow, learn, and thrive at their own pace.
Our Approach
We believe that every child is unique and special, and we aim to provide a tailored approach to learning that suits each child's individual needs and abilities. Our nursery is designed to provide a stimulating and engaging environment, where children can explore, discover, and learn through play. We offer a range of activities and resources, including treasure baskets, messy tactile play, role play, and outdoor play, to name just a few.
Our Rooms
We have three rooms, each designed to cater to a specific age group. Our Little Acorns room is for babies aged 6 months to 2 years, where we focus on building strong relationships and creating a sense of security and trust. Our Acorns room is for children aged 2-3 years, where we bridge the gap between babyhood and preschool, and our Saplings room is for preschool children aged 3-5 years, where we prepare them for school and beyond.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support our families, including settling sessions, parent-staff chats, and regular updates on your child's progress. We also provide a nutritious and balanced menu, prepared by our in-house chef, and we cater to all dietary requirements. Our nursery is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and we offer flexible booking options to suit your needs.
