We are an independent cabinetmaking studio located in South London, specialising in the design and production of bespoke cabinets and unique fitted and freestanding furniture. Our team consists of skilled craftsmen who work closely with each client from the design stage through to machining, assembly, finishing, and installation in their homes. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, we have built strong relationships with a range of partners such as BORA, Miele, and Silestone, allowing us to provide our clients with a wide selection of appliances, work surfaces, glass, and lighting.
Design Process
At Ian Dunn Woodwork and Design, we pride ourselves on providing a high level of expertise and competitive pricing for all our clients. We offer a complete project management service, creating bespoke cabinets, unique fitted and freestanding furniture, and supplying appliances, work surfaces, glass, and lighting to meet each client's specific requirements. We understand that each project is unique and we treat every client with the attention and respect they deserve. Once the work is completed, we provide a free visit to attend to any snagging with the cabinetry and fittings. We also offer ongoing support after the first year of the work being completed, attending to any minor issues that may arise.

We have an in-house interior design team that is knowledgeable and experienced in traditional and modern styles. We offer our clients the choice to have a unique design entirely tailored to their space, taste, and plan. We carefully consider the opening plan to deliver the client's needs and manage the project from start to finish.

Unreliable Communication
The reviewer, Alexis Chemla, had a poor experience with a company they approached for kitchen renovation work. Despite providing precise diagrams and pictures, the company failed to deliver a quote within the promised 7-day timeframe.
Lack of Follow-Through
The company repeatedly promised to provide a quote, only to ignore the reviewer's requests. When confronted, they cited being busy as an excuse, despite having made promises to deliver a quote.
Poor Customer Service
After 5 weeks of chasing, the company finally sent an email asking if they could assist with any renovation work, as if no prior discussion had taken place. This lack of follow-through and poor customer service led the reviewer to advise others to avoid the company.
