Horsham Bowling Club

Horsham Bowling Club is a friendly and inclusive club that has been an integral part of the local community for over a century. Established in 1906, we have a rich history and a strong commitment to the sport of bowls. Our club is located in Holbrook, just north of Horsham town centre, and boasts our own modern clubhouse and private parking facilities.

A Club for All

At Horsham Bowling Club, we welcome bowlers of all standards and are always eager to meet prospective new members. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and sociable club, and our private bar facility is a testament to this. Our bar is open to bowlers and social members on match days and at various social events throughout the year, providing a perfect opportunity to unwind and connect with fellow members.

An Active Bowling Schedule

Our bowling season runs from the end of April to the end of September, and we have a busy schedule of friendly matches against other clubs. We play approximately 70 mixed, ladies, and men's matches during this time, with key fixtures including the Home and Away matches against Worthing Pavilion and Marine Gardens Worthing for the Friendship Cup and Centenary Bowl, respectively. Our ladies participate in the Nellie Mercer League, and the men play in the Surrey/Sussex Border League.

In addition to our external matches, we host a number of County Matches and entertain visiting Touring clubs. We also run internal competitions, coaching sessions, and Fun Days for all the family, ensuring that there is something for everyone at Horsham Bowling Club.

County Competitions

Our members are encouraged to participate in County Competitions, and both men and ladies represent the club in County Club Competitions. We are proud of our members' achievements in these competitions and see it as a testament to the strength and skill of our club.
