Rustic Roast, established in the heart of Dorset, is a professional provider of Hog Roasts and BBQ Catering services for various events in Poole, Bournemouth, and the surrounding areas. Our team brings many years of experience in the catering industry, ensuring that we deliver top-quality food and service to each of our clients. We utilise high-quality machines from Spitting Pig, source locally ingredients, and offer eco-friendly disposables. Our professional chefs and staff are trained in basic food hygiene, and we are registered with Purbeck District Council. We have public liability insurance coverage of up to 5 million.
At Rustic Roast, we cook the meat on-site, pre-roasting the meat prior to arriving at the venue, requiring approximately 2 hours of setup time before service. One experienced chef is provided to cook, carve, and serve the Hog Roast. We can also supply a front-of-house member of staff to help serve and clean the venue. We serve for up to 1 hour from the pre-determined booking time, with a more leisurely service time available at an additional cost.
We have various roasting machines that can cater to different group sizes, from our table-top machine that feeds 20 people to our largest machine that feeds up to 150+ through roasting different-sized pigs priced accordingly. Our staff has undergone basic food hygiene training. We have a 3x3m gazebo available to cover the cooking and serving area in case of rain.

BBQ Menu
Our BBQ menu is served buffet style and is inclusive of wooden cutlery, biodegradable palm plates, and a chef. Prices are available upon application.
