Our History
Our journey began in the 1950s when Albert Gordon Widdowson joined W.C Jones and later bought G.D. Metal Company, opening his first yard. Over the years, we've grown through strategic acquisitions and expansions, including the purchase of Salts Scrap Metal, C. H. Ford, and several other sites across the UK. Today, we're proud to be a leading recycling and recovery company, specializing in the collection, sale, and recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, general waste, and ELV (End-of-life Vehicles).
