Our Story
The owner of Curry Palace, Miah, started working in the restaurant trade in 1992, to which he gained more knowledge and experience on culinary skills. Growing up in a Bangladeshi family, he had been exposed to a variety of quality dishes, made by his mother, where he could transform into appetising cuisine. He has travelled the world and learnt about different spices and flavour combinations, inspiring him to create menus with a unique twist. From this, Miah aspired to broaden his horizons and start his establishment, in 1995, where he can share his dishes with everyone.

Curry Palace is an award-winning Indian restaurant & takeaway near Cambridge where food-lovers are served authentic, delicious, Indian cuisine. We have achieved the Bangladeshi Caterers Association (BCA) award for the Best Restaurant of the Year 2014 for the East Anglia region, as well as being the runner-up at the MasterChef Promotions 2015 Cook-Off award for the best restaurant in the East Anglia region. We have also received a 5-star award certificate for HYGIENE from the FOOD HYGIENE RATING.
