Who We Are
Welcome to James's LDC Driving School, where we pride ourselves on providing top-notch driving lessons and courses to students in Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Chesterfield, and surrounding areas. As a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) operating my own independent LDC driving school business, I, James Farrar, am dedicated to helping you learn to drive quickly, efficiently, and safely.
Our Approach
Our unique approach is centered around the incredible LD System, a student-centered learning method that encourages self-reliance, confidence, and responsibility. This system allows you to watch and study how to perform each driving task before your next lesson, saving time and money on unnecessary explanations in the car. With the LD System, you'll make rapid progress, and your confidence will grow as you mark off each of the targets in your LDC workbook and/or online.
Our Services
At James's LDC Driving School, we offer a range of courses and driving lesson packages to suit your needs. Our courses include access to our LDC online students learning hub, the LDC driving skills DVD/workbook, and the provision of a driving test within the price. Alternatively, you can opt for our "pay as you go" driving lessons. We also provide intensive and semi-intensive driving courses, Pass Plus, and ORDIT training.
About the LD System
The LD System is an innovative way to learn to drive, directed by you. For each lesson, you'll watch the video and read the notes to see how it should be done, put it into practice, review the lesson in your reflective diary, and mark the targets achieved. This simple, effective, fast, and fun approach will help you learn to drive quickly and safely.
About My Business and LDC
My LDC driving school business is operated under franchise from the Learner Driving Centre, which has been helping driving instructors provide quality driver training services for over 30 years. As an LDC driving school instructor, I have undergone specialist training in the use of the unique LD System, student-centered learning, and customer care. This means I am governed by LDC's stringent customer care and tuition standards, ensuring a truly professional service of the highest quality.
