AJS Landscapes is a small, family-run business with a rich history dating back to 1984. Founded by Andy Stuffins, the company is still owned and managed by him, providing a personal touch to every project. We mainly operate within a 30-mile radius of Peterborough, covering North Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire, and parts of Northamptonshire. Our extensive portfolio showcases a variety of completed projects, and we are always ready to provide additional information upon request.

Over the years, we have been featured in numerous national gardening magazines, including Garden News, Garden Answers, and Practical Gardening. Our strong relationships with garden designers enable us to work with existing plans or create new ones tailored to your needs. As a licensed waste carrier, we hold certificates for diggers, use of abrasive wheels, and site safety and awareness. We are registered with the HSE and have a 10 million public liability insurance, ensuring your peace of mind throughout the project.

Technical Information

*Artificial Grass*: The area is excavated, and a Terram membrane is laid. The base is consolidated with MOT Type One. A minimal layer of 6mm grano dust is compacted and levelled, followed by a weed-proof membrane. The perimeter can be steel edging or pegged with tantalised stakes and timbers.

*Drives*: Once the excavation is completed, a geotextile membrane is laid, followed by a minimal layer of MOT Type 1. A compacted sub-base of MOT Type 3 is then added, before the surface course of porous asphalt or hot rolled asphalt is laid and compacted. Edgings are installed to retain the area, and manholes and gullies are adjusted as required. Finally, the area is cleaned and finished to a high standard.
