We are a BVRLA Member which gives you the reassurance of the level and quality of service you will receive. We are audited against their code of conduct and they offer a dispute resolution service should a complaint with us not be resolved. We were the first company in Cambridgeshire to complete our Business Road Safety Membership program, resulting in press coverage and membership #1 in the whole of Cambridgeshire. This further more highlights our commitment to road safety. In December 2008, we became a member of the Federation of Small Businesses.
Our History
1991 Budget Cambridge (Buttress and Buttress), a franchise of Budget rent a car, was born and the journey began. 2006 Budget Cambridge (Buttress and Buttress) became Cambridge Car and Van Rental. Wanting to remain a local company and not become involved with call centres, we became a 100% independent company. It enabled us to keep that connection with our customers and ensure we had full control of customer service. Since then we haven't looked back!

Our van hire solutions offer small to extra-large sized vans for every task. Our people carrier hire offers 7 to 9 seats, ideal for group adventures. And, our electric car hire provides an eco-friendly exploration option, powered by advanced tech and silent, smooth emission-free driving.
Business Rental and Long-Term Hire
We also provide business car and van hire solutions, tailored to your business needs and budget. Our long-term vehicle hire options offer flexibility and convenience for short-term commitments. And, our meet and greet service at Cambridge Airport, Train Station, and Train Station North ensures seamless car hire, from arrival to the open road.
