Our Story
Our journey began in 1975 when Peter Baker, the founder, served his apprenticeship at a multi-franchise shop in London. After moving to Norfolk, he continued to work on bikes in his workshop at home, servicing and tuning many local bikes. In 2001, he opened a bike shop in King's Lynn, backed by his racing sponsors at the time, the Anglia Co-op. Although the Co-op group pulled the plug on all their involvement with the motor trade, Peter's passion and determination led him to go it alone, and in February 2002, Motorcycles Direct LTD opened its doors.

We are franchise dealers for Motorini and Zontes scooter and small bike ranges. As a racing enthusiast with 27 years of experience in national series, including 600 supersport, endurance, Powerbikes, and BSB Superbike, Peter Baker can offer expert advice on race development, trackday setup, and race bike builds using parts that he knows will work.
