Our Memorials
Our showroom has a large selection of memorials on display, and we encourage customers to visit us and see the beauty of natural stone for themselves. We offer brochures on request, but we believe that seeing the memorials in person provides a better understanding of the materials, colour, and design. Materials
At James Pepper, we work with a variety of materials, including granite, marble, Nabresina, Portland, York stone, and slate. Granite and polished memorials are easy to maintain, while fine honed memorials are also easy to maintain but need washing down to remove natural weathering and growth that can adhere to the material. Marble, Nabresina, Portland, York stone, and rustic memorials with inscription panels need regular washing and brushing to remove natural weathering and growth. Regular maintenance is crucial to ensure the longevity of the memorial and maintain its appearance.
Lettering and Designs
We offer a wide selection of fonts, languages, and designs to choose from. All lettering and designs are done in our workshop on our premises using sophisticated computerised stencil methods and traditional hand cut and lead methods. Our experienced stonemasons ensure that each memorial is created with care and attention to detail, resulting in a high-quality and unique memorial that will last for generations.
Once an order is placed, and the memorial is at a certain stage of our work programme, a layout showing the design, size, and inscription is provided for your approval. We strive to ensure that each memorial meets your expectations and is a fitting tribute to your loved one.
