Our two main aims at Walkies are to provide a consistent and reliable dog walking service for you, giving your dog all the fun, exercise, and socialization they crave, and to build loving and caring relationships with your pets, treating them with the same love and attention we give our own.

About Alex

Our founder, Alex, has lived in Oxford for over 40 years and has a lifetime's experience of dog ownership. With a background in management, consultancy, and charity work, Alex set up Walkies in 2011 to follow her heart and work with dogs. She is currently studying Canine Behaviour at the British College of Canine Studies and will soon be providing behavioural advice as part of Walkies' services. Alex is supported by a team of trusted assistants who help with dog pickups and walking.
