Our History: From Humble Beginnings to a Global Reach
IFS Global Logistics was founded as Ireland Freight Services in 1967 by our late Chairman, Mr. Walter Anderson. We have grown significantly since then, acquiring Williames Airfreight in 1990 and BRS Air Cargo in 1994. In 1998, the establishment of IFS Courier Express marked our venture into express global courier services. In 1999, we emerged as a dynamic provider of innovative logistics solutions, introducing "Vendorvillage", Ireland's first approved vendor-managed inventory facility. From a humble beginning with a small team, we have grown into a global logistics powerhouse, with over 100 professionals and a vast network facilitated by cutting-edge IT platforms and real-time tracking networks.
