International Rescue Plumbing Division (IRPD) is a proudly family-run business that has been serving the domestic gas industry with distinction for over 30 years. Our team of friendly and knowledgeable staff is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, from providing free advice to conducting full installations. At IRPD, we are committed to providing affordable and sustainable heating and plumbing solutions for our customers. Our team is led by Andrew Smale, who holds a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating. This qualification enables us to recommend the most energy-efficient solutions for our customers, helping to reduce their energy bills while also minimising their carbon footprint.

Our team also includes Martin Smale, who holds a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Plumbing Studies. This qualification, combined with his City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Services (Plumbing) - Gas Option 100/3285/X, enables us to deliver a wide range of plumbing and heating services safely and efficiently.

All our engineers hold the Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme for Individual Gas Fitting Operatives, issued by BPEC. This certification, alongside our BPEC Certificate of Achievement in Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems and our BPEC Certificate of Competence in Solar Domestic Hot Water Heating, demonstrates our commitment to ongoing professional development and ensures that we are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Heating Services

At IRPD, we offer a full range of heating services, including supply and installation of full gas central heating, boiler changes, breakdown repairs, cold water storage tanks, radiators, conventional and pressurised hot water storage systems, all system controls, power flushing, servicing of all domestic gas appliances, landlords' gas safety inspections, and solar hot water systems. We are approved domestic installers for both Vaillant and Ideal, enabling us to recommend and install the most suitable boilers for our customers' needs.

Plumbing Services

Our plumbing services include bathroom installations, tiling, shower repair and replacement, water tanks, immersion heaters, ball valves, toilets, tap replacement and repair, leaks, and a wide range of other plumbing repairs and installations. We offer a full tiling service, from supplying and fitting tiles to repairing damaged or cracked tiles. Our experienced bathroom installers can provide a full bathroom installation service, including tiling, plumbing, and electrics.
